Jesus & Recycling & Fibs
The Scene: Karenna wanted to skip out on our nightly reading time in favor of a bath. Here's the conversation that followed:
Karenna: I want to take a bath, Mommy.
Kari: Are you finished with Bible time already?
Karenna: Yes. We are done.
Kari: What did you learn about?
Karenna: It was about Jesus and he was recycling food. Or, actually, he was recycling trash.
Kari: Oh really? Jesus was recycling? Where is that in the Bible?
*Cue the guilty tears
I guess Karenna could have been talking about John 2, where Jesus turns water into wine. But unfortunately, we're reading 1 Corinthians.
